Lhaga Namlha Koondhor

Lhaga Koondhor is an artist, curator, and cultural producer based in Zürich. Part of the Swiss-Tibetan diaspora, her practice moves between art, sound, performance, and space. Koondhor is using inclusion not as a theme but as a working method.

Her projects articulate themselves like theory-fiction and oral mythology, never from a dominant authorial voice, but through the accumulation of other voices and a shared understanding. She builds situations rather than objects: environments where cultural boundaries dissolve, communities form, and transformation becomes possible.

She co-founded H.O.M.E. (House of Mixed Emotions) and directed Zürich's Longstreet Bar as an artistic platform, collaborating with artists including Arca, Klein, and Juliana Huxtable. From 2016 to 2020, she worked in China with NVSHU 女术, engaging with underground LGBTQI+ music scenes in Beijing and Shanghai. Since 2020, she has co-curated performance programs at Gessnerallee and collaborated with Kunsthaus Zürich and Cabaret Voltaire, while broadening her practice into video and sculpture.

Since 2021 she has directed Haus Gawaling, an interdisciplinary artist residency project in Graubünden, born from within her own family walls. Through House of Intuition, she works as a creative strategist for artists, brands, and institutions.
